How the 'Packing List,' 'Lists,' and 'To-Dos' Work

There’s a lot to keep track of when it comes to the kids. That’s why we’ve gathered the tools that help you stay organized, all in one place. Let us introduce the 'Packing List,' 'Lists,' and 'To-Dos.' They make it clear what needs to be done and who has done what.

Packing List – Your Helper for Transitions

In the Packing List, you can add what the child needs to bring during each transition between homes. This could be the tablet, soccer shin guards, riding helmet, and other important items.

Before the transition, you or your child can check off each item as it’s packed, and the co-parent will get an instant notification that the item is ready. No need to remind or nag about the stuff anymore. If you forget to check something off, the app will remind you that there are still items left to pack.

The list auto-generates for each transition, so you don’t need to empty it — the app does that for you. Sweet!

Lists

Tap the Plus button to add your child’s digital wishlist, so both of you can see and consider good birthday gifts. Just make sure you don’t share the list with your child! You can check this by marking the avatars that should see the list. (Those in color can see the list. Those unmarked cannot.)

If you decide to buy a game, soccer shoes, or a skateboard, just check the box when it’s done, and everyone who has access to the list will see the update immediately. Don’t forget, you can also add the expense for sharing in the Finance Tool!

If you want lists just for yourself, simply unselect all avatars except your own when creating the list, and only you will know it exists and can view its contents.

Lists can be deleted, unlike chat threads, which can only be archived.

To-Dos

Here, you or your co-parent can add tasks related to the children, like doctor’s appointments or buying a gift for a party. You can set a deadline for when the task needs to be completed.

Once you or your co-parent have finished booking the appointment or making the purchase, just click the small marker on the right, and the task will be marked as done. The other person will instantly see that the task is complete. No more reminders or nagging!
