Read the Varannan Vecka Report!

The Varannan Vecka Report is an independent report about children, parents, and their families living the so-called "varannan vecka-life" life in Sweden. In other words, parents who don't live together but share joint responsibility for children who live and spend time in different households.

The Report is Unique

The report was created by us at Happy Parents AB, the creators and operators of the Varannan Vecka-app. The report is unique because it sheds light on all the children and families living under two or more roofs.

Here, you'll find an interesting background on today’s every-other-week living arrangement and how the every-other-week life looks in different parts of the country, as well as in families with various socioeconomic backgrounds. It's time this family structure is recognized and given a seat at the table alongside the traditional nuclear family.
