We designed the app with children's schedules and needs in mind. To fully utilize the app's functionality, you need to create a living schedule for your child. If you don't have a schedule, you'll see "Create Schedule" in the upper left corner.
This schedule then serves as the base schedule in the app. To make changes to an existing schedule, click on the pencil in the upper left corner. You can have multiple schedules if you have more than one child with different living arrangements.
The app supports all types of schedules, recognizing that some children live alternately between parents, while others live with one parent and visit the other on evenings or weekends.
If you receive a party invitation or information from school, take a picture of the details and click on the AI, which will analyze the image. The AI will create a new activity based on the invitation or school information, which you can review and approve by clicking save. Voila! All the info is now in the app.
The AI can also create multiple activities, such as one for the party and another for RSVPing to the party. It all depends on the information shared with the AI. So convenient!
If you don't have an image and are entering the details from memory, or if you click on the "plus" under the AI option, you can easily enter the information yourself, including time, location, reminders, and so on. It takes a bit longer, but it's the way we've always done it.
For each activity, you can choose 'recurring' and set the 'start and end dates.'
You can also set reminders as needed, either for yourself or for the children.
Regarding the visibility of each activity: the default is that the activity is shared with everyone. However, you can create activities that only you can see: New Activity > More Options > Visible to. Here, you can deselect those who should not see the activity. Their avatar will turn gray, indicating that only the colorful avatars can see the activity.
If you’ve created an activity for your child, the child’s avatar will appear on the activity itself and to the right until the child has viewed it. Once the child has seen it, the avatar on the right disappears.
